NARUTO Mythos Organized Play

Store Agreement & Code of Conduct

Introduction

By joining the NARUTO Mythos Organized Play Program, every Store acknowledges and agrees to follow the rules and standards outlined in this document. These guidelines are intended to ensure a fair, consistent, and enjoyable Organized Play experience for all players and partners.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary actions, including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Organized Play Program.

Store Responsibilities

Each participating Store agrees to:

1. Fair Event Management

  • Run tournaments and Organized Play events honestly and fairly.
  • Follow the official tournament procedures and event guidelines.
  • Apply rules consistently to all players.

2. Accurate Reporting

  • Submit event results truthfully and within the required deadlines.
  • Never falsify attendance numbers, player information, or tournament results.

3. Proper Distribution of OP Materials

  • Distribute promotional materials, participation prizes, and exclusive rewards only as instructed by the Organized Play team.
  • Do not sell, withhold, or redistribute Organized Play promotional items unless explicitly authorized.
  • The promo material not used during tournaments can be used for other tournaments or promotional events two weeks after the deadline for organizing that type of tournament has passed.

4. Respect for the Community

  • Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment.
  • Prevent harassment, discrimination, cheating, or abusive behavior during events.
  • Defamatory statements, insults, or any form of public disparagement directed toward other participating Stores or competitors will not be tolerated.
  • Stores are encouraged to maintain a positive relationship with neighboring Stores and to collaborate whenever possible in order to strengthen the local community and give players the opportunity to participate in events across multiple locations.

5. Communication & Respect for the Organized Play Team

  • Respond to official communications from the Organized Play team in a timely manner.
  • Inform the Organized Play team of any significant issues affecting scheduled events.
  • Treat all members of the Organized Play team with professionalism and respect in every interaction.
  • Respect the work, decisions, and efforts of the Organized Play team, even when requesting clarification or appealing a decision. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but harassment, abusive language, or repeated disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

6. Compliance with Official Policies

  • Follow all current and future Organized Play policies, announcements, and tournament documents.
  • Accept that policies may be updated as the program evolves (for example: tournament rules, judge and player policy).

7. Tournament Organizer and Store Staff Eligibility

  • To ensure the integrity, fairness, and impartiality of all Competitive and higher-level tournaments, Tournament Organizers and any store employees or staff members involved in the organization, administration, or operation of a tournament are not eligible to participate as players in any Competitive (Store Championship and higher) or higher-tier tournament hosted by their own store.
  • This restriction applies regardless of whether the individual is actively performing tournament duties. Any person serving as a Tournament Organizer or acting as a member of the hosting store's staff is considered to have a potential conflict of interest and is therefore ineligible to compete in that tournament.
  • If a Tournament Organizer or store employee wishes to participate in a Competitive or higher-level tournament, they may do so only at an event hosted by a different store where they have no organizational or operational responsibilities.

Warning and Disciplinary System

The NARUTO Mythos Organized Play Program uses a progressive disciplinary system designed to encourage compliance while ensuring fairness.

First Violation – Official Warning

The Store will receive an official written warning describing:

  • the rule that was violated;
  • the reason for the warning;
  • any corrective actions required.

The warning will remain on the Store's Organized Play record.

Second Violation – Temporary Suspension

If a second violation occurs, the Store will receive:

  • a second official warning;
  • a temporary suspension from the Organized Play Program.

During the suspension, the Store may lose access to:

  • Organized Play events;
  • promotional kits;
  • exclusive Organized Play products;
  • future event registrations.

The duration of the suspension will be determined by the Organized Play team based on the severity of the violation.

Third Violation – Permanent Removal

A third violation will result in permanent removal from the NARUTO Mythos Organized Play Program.

A permanently removed Store will:

  • lose all Organized Play privileges;
  • no longer receive Organized Play materials or promotional support;
  • no longer be eligible to host official NARUTO Mythos Organized Play events.
  • have its Organized Play ban formally communicated to its official distributor for record and coordination purposes.

Serious Misconduct

Certain violations are considered severe enough to justify immediate suspension or permanent removal without following the standard warning progression.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • fraud;
  • intentional falsification of tournament data;
  • theft or resale of Organized Play materials;
  • repeated cheating;
  • behavior that seriously damages the integrity of the Organized Play Program.

The Organized Play team reserves the right to determine whether a violation falls into this category.

Warning Revocation

If a store works following these guidelines and does not commit any further violations for a period of six months, one of its warnings may be revoked.

Each case will be reviewed individually by the Organized Play Team. The removal of a warning is granted solely at the OP Team's discretion and is not an automatic process.

Final Authority

The NARUTO Mythos Organized Play Team reserves the right to investigate any reported violation and to make the final decision regarding disciplinary actions.

By participating in the Organized Play Program, each Store acknowledges that these decisions are final and agrees to comply with all applicable Organized Play policies.
