Announcement: Naruto Mythos TCG – Set 2 is Coming!

We’re excited to officially reveal that Set 2: Shinobi Shiren will be arriving this September! This new set brings a lot of fresh ideas, improvements, and collectible highlights that we can’t wait to share with you.

Numbered Cards

We received amazing feedback on the numbered cards from Set 1, where we introduced 4 alternate secret rare cards limited to 75 copies each.

With Set 2, we’re taking this concept even further - introducing a more refined and structured numbering system. This will not only enhance long-term collectible value but also give collectors even more high-value cards to chase.

Gold Cards

Our most premium cards are making a return. Featuring real 22k gold, fine micro-engraving, limited production, and unique numbering, Gold Cards will once again be part of Set 2. These are true centerpiece items for collectors looking to expand their premium collection.

Original Designs (Big News!)

This is one of the biggest updates in Set 2: we’re introducing original card designs into the collection.

These designs will appear across different rarities, meaning:

• Some will be more accessible, so more fans can enjoy them
• Others will be highly limited, numbered cards with significant collector value
  

We know that extremely limited cards (like runs of 50, 250, or 500) can be tough to obtain, so we wanted to strike a better balance. That’s why we’re also introducing a new rarity tier for special designs, with a defined pull rate. This keeps cards exciting to chase while still giving more players a fair shot at owning something unique.

New Rarities

Set 2 will introduce several new rarity levels, not just for original designs, but across the entire set. This adds more depth to collecting and keeps the experience fresh and engaging for both players and collectors.

August 28 – Pre-Release (Early Access)

Official OP Naruto Mythos TCG stores will have early access to Set 2 products before the official launch.

We’re also bringing something special for competitive players and local communities:

• Pre-release tournaments will take place on August 28, 29 and 30, one week before the official launch
• The official release date is September 4
  

What does this mean for the fans?

If you visit a participating local hobby shop, you’ll be able to:

• Play with the new cards a full week early.
• Join pre-release tournaments.
• Purchase products before the official release.
  

What is pre-release weekend:

Stores can choose when they want to host their pre-release event: Friday, August 28, Saturday 29, or Sunday 30.

We will monitor the experience and feedback from the players and the fans and based on the information, we will improve the pre-release weekend.
